What an artful pottery. After that paint is installed, does it undergo oven baking or simply by drying?
Do you know when you'll actually open the kiln on Saturday? Or is there no set time?
The pots are painted when the are dry but not yet fired. Then they are either glazed or fired in a salt glazing kiln the finishes the surface in the firing of the kiln.
The kiln will be unloaded friday evening so I can get them ready, priced and out in the studio for Saturday morning.
