A lots Been Going On

The Kiln opening was awesome, I had a incredible firing. The pots came out amazing I think it was one of my best firings ever! Sales were great and A huge turn out too! Thanks to all that came out. But you know, I still have some great pots left! I have been working on taking some images and getting things listed on line, but it has taken longer than I thought. I've also been busy with special orders and getting ready for the Celebration of Seagrove Potters too. Hopefully I'll get this completed next week.

I other news I made the cove of this little magazine Carolina Country, Pretty cool don't you think?

I'm also going to be featured I A new International Magazine Ceramics Now It's published in Romania. They also in invited me to be in an International Exhibition that they are organizing in Romania. I haven't got the details yet But I'm looking forward to it!

Thats all for now Off to the studio, lots to do!

Seagrove Celebration

Well its all over, The Celebration of Seagrove Potters. There was a great turnout and sales too! Thanks to everyone that came out. Saw some old friends and got to visit with some of the other potters at the end of the day Sunday when things slowed down, that was great! We never seem to get much time to do that especially this time of year when were all so busy. So here's a few pictures of my booth full of people and the aisles packed with people too.
It was a great weekend!!

Working,Working,Working, so glad I love what I do!!!

You know some days just seem to go on forever and weeks too, so I take a deep breath or two then I remember how much I love what I do! The past few weeks I've felt like this. This Time of year is always like this, tis the season!!! Anyway so far this month I have fired two loads of tiles, one gas fired kiln of pots and there is one more firing today. All this in preparation for The Celebration of Seagrove Potters. Last year was the first year and it was crazy busy. Its friday night 20th and the 21 and 22nd. I'll leave you with a few pics of judson helping me unload the kiln on monday. He loves helping unload the kiln and this time he filled up his little red wagon and pulled them in the studio, he's becoming my little helper!! To night I'll be setting up for the Celebration, hope to see you all there!!
